As a student organization, it is imperative for us to build a society of engineers who positively impact the community and encourage entrepreneurship. Supporting small businesses is our way of doing our part for our small, yet mighty village. By contributing to these small businesses, we are validating the owners and letting them know their work is important and valued. Let’s show them that the time and effort they put into their work is worth it! We hope that by doing so, we can help contribute towards closing racial wealth gaps, promote job creation, and raise more awareness for Black entrepreneurs and their vision.

Furthermore, buying from mega-corporations becomes unnecessary when one of our own is capable of providing the same, if not better, quality work.
